Trust & safety
Families and educators trust us with something precious. Here is how we earn and protect that trust every day.

Safe sessions
- Tutoring and in-person services take place online or in public spaces such as libraries. We do not hold sessions in private homes.
- Minors attend virtual sessions with a parent or guardian’s knowledge; parent-managed accounts give parents full visibility.
- Staff and contractors who work with students complete background screening appropriate to their role.
Protecting children
Students under 13 must have a parent-managed account. We collect only the information we need to provide services and never sell personal information. We follow the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the principles of FERPA when handling school records you share with us.
Protecting your data
- Documents you upload are stored in private, encrypted storage and are only accessible to you and staff working on your service.
- Accounts are protected by email verification, optional sign-in codes, rate limiting and bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile).
- All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Payments are processed by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1) on its own secure page; we never see or store card numbers. Accounts can be signed out of every device at once, and repeated failed sign-ins pause access.
Event safety and ticket verification
Each event registration has a unique ticket ID. Our assistants verify tickets at the door or webinar entry so only registered participants attend. Please report any concern to staff on site or through our contact form.
Honest about what we do
Our assessments and screenings are educational. They are not psychological evaluations and do not diagnose medical or psychological conditions. Sponsored content is always clearly disclosed.
Report a concern
If you have a safety concern, choose Safety concern on our contact form. Safety reports go straight to leadership and are reviewed as a priority. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911. To report suspected abuse in Florida, call the Florida Abuse Hotline at 1-800-962-2873.
