Scope
This agreement applies to organizations that fund programs, sponsor content, advertise or provide offers through BasicsConnect. Each partnership also has an individual contract in your partner portal that specifies type, rationale, value, term, deliverables and reporting. If they conflict, the individual contract wins.
Partnership types
- Funding: support for defined programs such as free workshops, assessments or memberships.
- Sponsorship: disclosed sponsorship of video series, podcasts or events.
- Advertising: brand-safe placements on our channels.
- Audience offers: discounts or resources for our members.
- In-kind: donated products, venues or services.
Content and brand standards
We only promote products and organizations that genuinely serve our audiences. All sponsored and partner content is clearly disclosed in line with FTC guidelines. We retain editorial independence; partners do not control our educational content.
Data and privacy
We share aggregated, non-identifying impact data with partners. We never sell or share member personal information unless a member chooses to redeem an offer that requires it, with notice.
Payment
Partner fees are invoiced as set out in your contract. Invoices are available as PDFs in your portal.
Term and termination
Either party may terminate for material breach not cured within 30 days of notice. Funded programs already delivered are not refundable.
Electronic signature
Contracts are signed electronically in the partner portal. We record the signer’s name, time and IP address as evidence of signature.
