Community guidelines
BasicsConnect is a supportive space for parents, students and educators. These guidelines apply on the platform, at events, and in comments on our social channels.

Be kind and respectful
Disagree with ideas, not people. No harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats or discrimination of any kind.
Protect privacy, especially children’s
Do not share students’ names, photos, school records or other identifying details, yours or anyone else’s, in comments, chats or public spaces.
Be honest
No spam, scams, impersonation or misleading claims. Disclose any commercial relationship when recommending products.
Our social channels
On Basics Connect – Parents, Educators and Students and our Facebook and Instagram pages, we may hide or remove comments that break these guidelines and block repeat offenders. Comments do not represent BasicsConnect’s views.
Events and meetings
Arrive with your registered ticket, follow host instructions, and keep chats on topic. Recording is not allowed without permission.
Enforcement
We may remove content, end a session, or suspend accounts that break these guidelines. Report concerns through our contact form.
