Parent-managed vs self-managed student accounts
How to add children to your account and when students can manage their own.
Students can be parent-managed or self-managed.
Parent-managed
Parents add student profiles from My students. You book services, see progress and receive all communication. Students under 13 must be parent-managed.
Self-managed
Students 13 and older can create their own account. If they are under 18 we ask for a parent or guardian email so we can share important updates.
Information we ask for
- Name and grade
- School (optional)
- Learning supports such as IEP, 504 or ELL (optional, helps us prepare)
- Guardian consent
